The Oxton Art Fair 2019 is an annual event run by a group of talented artists living in the Oxton area of Wirral and is hosted by the Williamson Art Gallery and Museum in Slatey Road, Oxton on the Wirral Peninsula.
This 16th annual fair taking place over the weekend of 30th Nov - 1st Dec is a wonderful showcase for 22 talented painters, glass artists, illustrators, textile workers, potters, mixed media, jewellery, photography and more. To keep the fair fresh a number of guest artists are invited to participate and I'm pleased to be taking part in my third fair as a guest artist showcasing my photography.
The theme this year for the wall display at my stall will be textured flowers, but visitors to the fair will be able to purchase other wide ranging prints from digital infrared to landscapes and architecture. Visit the Oxton Art Fair 2019 website for the full list of participating artists and examples of their wonderful work. An example of my artwork on display at the fair can be seen on my portfolio.
The fair is preluded with a private viewing on Friday 29th November 6-8pm and the Oxton artists raise money by either donating a piece of art for sale or by making a cash donation in aid of the fair's chosen charity.
